I bought this for my Redtick Coondhound because of the visibility. When he's in deep, tall brush, he's very camouflaged due to his ticking pattern. For that use, it does very well. However, I only gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because of the thinness of the material. I still have the one that I bought about 7 years ago for my previous Redtick. It's the exact same pattern, (though a different size), but the material is about 50% thicker. My other dog wore that one for about 4 years and never tore it, all while hunting in the same areas I'm hunting in now. Even when hunting in the roughest brush. With this new one, there were several tares in it after only the first couple of weeks, and about 3 weeks ago he came in from the hunt with it torn in shreds. That's why I bought this new one. I would still buy it again for the visibility protection it gives him from other, (read here inexperienced/trigger-happy), hunters. But, I do wish it were as durable as the original version!
